Amazing! I hope this doesn't come across as insulting, but one thing I absolutely love about this painting is that you didn't make him look /pretty/. It was one of the reasons that it caught my eye. Anyway, beautiful art, awesome detail, great job!

Not insulting at all, I honestly think that one of the major themes of this character is that he is dashing and still rather attractive in his own right ( or "pretty," as you put it). While they don't really go into the reasons behind his curse I get the feeling that he remains the pig because that is how he sees himself, he doesn't think he is pretty or deserving because of the things he has done and the life he has lived, despite many of the other characters falling in love with him in one way or another. Porco is a great Ghibli character and he deserves to be gussied up every once in a while, even if he doesn't think so himself.
